Our Team’s Guiding Beliefs and Values
Hello! We are Lifestyle Video Productions. We make videos with an emphasis on creativity, innovative thinking and experience to make your video look absolutely breathtaking.
When you hire us you get the benefit of nearly 30 years of video production experience. During this time, we have specialised in documentary, special event and corporate video productions.
Our team believes in the power of storytelling. Because we are used to looking at stories visually, we can imagine the scene for you that will turn your vision into reality.
Quality and good craftsmanship are our goals. Anything less than a great result is inefficient and costly.
A Little About Our Team
Hi –
We are John and Anne Morton, the people behind Lifestyle Video Productions.
It is true that we have been producing top videos for nearly 30 years and we have worked as a team throughout that time.
John has always enjoyed making movies ever since his father bought a movie camera. That started something that grew over the years as father’s camera became son’s camera. Soon after followed a movie projector and many memories and family events were recorded for the enjoyment of all ages.
Then more than 20 years ago, John decided to produce a feature film of our next holiday. But it was not just any holiday. Instead it was an adventurous four-wheel drive challenge along the Canning Stock Route, one of the longest and most isolated desert tracks in Australia.
This was followed with more four-wheel drive trips in outback Australia and several model airplane and helicopter events, also filmed.
More about our team
John turned professional with the digital age. We continued to film trips to various destinations and sold thousands of DVDs in a series of 4WD travel guides.
Since then we have filmed many events, including weddings, birthday parties, concerts and performances and other special events.
We have produced many videos for businesses, including promotional, demonstration, introductory and product launch videos.
And we still produce full length feature videos of travel in Australia and the world.
John is our cameraman, editor and director. He has always been an enthusiastic movie maker. And he enjoys the process of editing and fitting all the pieces together.
John is also a keen trombone player. He plays regularly with the Heidelberg Symphony Orchestra each year. You can see an example on our Videos of Concerts and Performances page.
Anne is John’s backup, assistant on many occasions, second camera at others and general administration most of the time, and includes among her many abilities photography, design, editorial, proof reading and writing skills.
Anne is a member of the Field Naturalists Club of Victoria, Birdlife Australia, Knox Environment Society and Friends of Dandenong Valley Parklands. Other interests include gardening, photography, squash and travel.
